Privacy Policy

Empany is a mood-sharing app for couples, made by Hugo Eilenberg. The short version: No AI. No ads. No tracking. Just you two. Your data is shared only with the partner you pair with.

What Empany stores

• The moods you share, and when you shared them
• Custom moods you create, including hand-drawn icon images
• Lists you keep together
• Pairing data that connects your app to your partner's

Where it lives

This data is stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) under your own Apple account, and synced only with your paired partner. The developer cannot browse your personal data. Empany has no servers of its own, and you don't create an account with us.

What Empany does not do

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No ads and no ad networks
• No tracking across apps or websites
• No AI processing of your moods, drawings or lists
• We never sell or share your data with anyone besides your partner

Notifications and Siri

Reminders use local notifications scheduled on your device. Siri and Shortcuts (App Intents) are used only to open the mood picker.

Deleting your data

Unpair in the app or delete the app to stop sharing. To remove Empany's data from iCloud, go to iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage (Manage Account Storage), choose Empany, and delete its data.

Children

Empany is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here with a new effective date.
